Christmas last forever at the Bloomin’ Inn! Come and join us for a cozy, country style Christmas and enjoy the Inn at its finest. We purposely make the holiday season stretch an extra month so everyone can enjoy the wonderful ambiance of the Inn. Imagine coming back from an evening of scrapbooking to a lit tree glowing softly in your room. Bring your Christmas photos along and sit in on classes that feature the holidays and enjoy the home cooked meals and the charm of the Inn.

Winter Wonderland:

The snow may still be covering the ground and the wind may blow, but inside our bright new workshop it is cozy and warm. Come relax with us and catch up on your back log of photos while you snuggle up at the Inn. Warm flannel quilts and delicious country style will chase the winter blues away! Lean a few new tricks as you sit in on classes that feature exciting new products. Bring along your hot chocolate and come relax with us!

Heritage Day Four Day Retreat

Chase away the winter blues and run away with us for a cozy winter weekend. Make’N Take will introduce you to new techniques and new products and scrap the nights away. Get lots of pages down in this mega-sized weekend.

Stamp Haven

Back by popular demand! Stamping techniques continue to interest and amaze scrapbookers who are looking for ways to embellish their scrapbook pages. Stamp, emboss and water color as you sit in on technique classes that will appeal to both the card makers and the scrapbooker. Don’t worry about being a beginner, our guest instructor will have you stamping like a pro. All inks and stamping supplies will be on sale this weekend!

March is our most popular retreat month and it is also one of the busiest times of the year as calving time has started and Francis and Colleen put in long hours getting all the babies safely born. Pack up your snow boots and camera and take advantage of the photo opportunities, then come in fro some warm cocoa! Take a class and get creative with your winter layouts and wind a basket of seasonal scrapbooking supplies guaranteed to jump start you creativity!

The weather is starting to warm and it’s time to energize and get out of a scrapbooking rut. Challenge yourself to try new products and new techniques! Come away with us for the weekend and enjoy the fresh mountain air and Colleen’s delicious homemade baking. Everyone will get the opportunity to pick something they have never tried before or something that you have found difficult, then we will work together to get over the block. Take a break and go outside to see all the new born animal babies and enjoy the coming of spring!

Everyone wants to escape to the Inn in May! Ask your husband for a Mother’s Day Retreat and come and play with us at the Inn. Pamper yourself and enjoy our fantastic food, cozy rooms and wonderful workshop atmosphere. Gift certificates available, so just have your hubby call us and we’ll take care of the rest! May will be our ''new product'' month and each weekend we will feature a cutting edge product and technique at our make and take classes. Sit in on as many as you want.

Mother/Daughter Retreat

This weekend is not just limited to mothers and daughters - grab a sister or aunt or a good friend and take a break away with us. This weekend is the perfect one to bring your young daughter and introduce her to scrapbooking. Remember to bring lots of photos!

School is Out Workshop

School is just getting out for the summer and may be your last chance to get away before the children come home! At the Inn, the BBQ is hot and ready to go - take a break with us and enjoy our new workroom with all of it’s natural light and wonderful homemade meals. Paper, Paper, Paper

Have a fun time on this special weekend retreat as we feature one of the staples of a dedicated scrapbooker - paper. Whether it is solid, textured or patterned, paper is one of the most used supplies. We have contacted several of our suppliers and each participant will receive some amazing treats! Learn to combine patterns like a pro!

Summer’s End

Another school year is around the the bend and this may be your last chance to fit in a retreat before the summer is over. The gardens at the Bloomin’ Inn are bursting with fresh flowers and vegetables - the perfect place to relax and catch the last few days of summer as it slips away. Bring along a favorite summer photo (in a 5 x 7 format) and win a basket of summer theme scrapbooking products.

Labour Day Weekends Four Day Event
August 29 - 30 - 31, September 1 (LONG WEEKEND)
Our third annual Labor Day retreat promises to be a wonderfully relaxing as summer winds down and harvest kicks into full swing in our farming community. Take advantage of this four day event and put a dent on those piles of photos that you took last summer! The one thing on every bodies wish list is more time and Bloomin’ Inn has come up with the solution! One extra day to spend scrappin' visiting and enjoying the country atmosphere. Because long weekends are limited throughout the year, book early to avoid disappointment!

Fall is Cindy’s favourite time of year, as her numerous scrapbook pages on the subject attest to! No one scrapbooks the sights and feelings of autumn like she does! Enjoy the best of autumn has to offer at the Bloomin’ Inn - Colleen’s warm pumpkin pie, the crunchy leaves blowing off the trees, the smell of wood smoke from the wood burning stove and the pumpkins and scarecrows that adorn the farm. Bring your sweater & your camera and prepare for a crisp weekend get away. Did I mention Colleen’s pumpkin pie?

Halloween Howl!

November/December is one of our most popular times for retreats, as people want to finish holiday projects and gifts in time for Christmas. We have a wonderful schedule of events for you to choose from, pick a date, grab a friend and join us for a productive and creative weekend.

Sleigh Bells Ring:
December 12 - 13 - 14
This is the last retreat before Christmas and you will savor and enjoy the holiday sights at the Inn. From the fresh smell of the 17' Christmas tree in the dining room, the candle softly glowing on the harvest tables and festive wreaths hanging on every door, the Inn is sure to welcome you. Finish up on the last minute presents or just enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and catch your breath before the holiday rush begins. Bring your favorite Christmas CD, a bottle of wine and lots of photos! We may even go on a real sleigh ride with jingle bells! (snow permitting)
